As you may have gathered from the news a critical vulnerability impacting the LOG4j2 utility was reported recently. As our customer, you may be wondering if there is an influence on the use of our products in any way. We would like to inform you that

Log4j does not affect iQ-SYSTEM PACS

The recently discovered Log4j vulnerability (a.k.a. “Log4Shell”) does not affect iQ products.
Log4j is a Java library for logging error messages in applications and currently the most high-profile security vulnerability on the internet. Luckily, iQ-SYSTEM PACS (iQ-WEBX and related family) does neither use JAVA programming language nor the Log4j library and is therefore not threatened by this security gap.
