The BAT™ is designed to reduce the risk of breast cancer and other radiation-associated cancers in healthcare professionals. It seamlessly integrates with existing gear and offers superior universal shielding for potential gap areas and sleeves. This versatile accessory can be worn over or under a current radiation protection apron, enhancing safety and providing added assurance, especially for community aprons in hospital settings.
Featuring 0.35mm Strata 500 protection in the main body, sleeves, and breast plate, the BAT ensures comprehensive coverage. The attached thyroid shield offers 0.50mm protection to safeguard sensitive thyroid tissue. An adjustable hook and loop closure allows for a custom fit, including sleeve adjustments, ensuring comfort and optimal protection for every user.
For the best fit and comfort when wearing the BAT over another garment, we recommend sizing up. For accurate sizing, please refer the female/male sizing tables on the specifications tab.
