These burs are ideal for sectioning teeth in medium to large dogs.
FG Surgical Length are 25mm long and suitable for use in high speed handpieces for removing bone where a longer shank is required.
Friction Grip (FG) Cross-cut Tapered Fissure Burs are generally used for sectioning. We recommend size 699, 701 & 701L for cats and small dogs and size 702 & 702L for larger dogs. For Rodents, see the 703 burs.

Note: Friction Grip (FG) Burs are normally used in high-speed handpieces. Best practice is to dispose of burs between each patient to reduce turbine wear of the high-speed handpiece. They should not be used for more than 3 patients for risk of potential damage to the high-speed handpiece turbine.
