PowerShield Communication cards allow control and monitoring of multiple UPSs through SNMP protocol over LAN network or internet connection.
PowerShield’s Simple Network Managment Protocol (SNMP) cards offer a choice of remote management options. Control and monitor one or multiple UPS systems and perform management tasks including scheduled shutdowns, startups, and reboots by simply installing the Lite, V4 or Cyber Secure SNMP Card.
The PowerShield SNMP V4 has increased levels of security and supports virtual machine environments such as VMware and Hyper-V. It offers Modbus TCP/IP support.
When local UPS communications beyond the standard USB or RS232 are required, dry contact relay cards are available.
