Skinfoam | Knee Suport 40 x 20 x 40 cm
Skinfoam is a plastic coating which is applied thinly to the foam, to create a disinfectable surface, which can be wiped with a damp cloth. The surface is not waterproof and has, depending on stress, a limited lifespan.
Technically, all foam qualities can be coated. We do not recommend the coating of composite foams, though, as the coating looks poorly on foam qualities with an „uneven“ surface. Furthermore, the coating of viscoelastic foams is not recommended, due to the fact that they „break“ quite quickly at the edges / corners.
Ordinary polyurethane or polyethylene foams can be coated without any problems. However, it should be mentioned that the coating of polyethylene surfaces is more expensive because the surfaces have to be pretreated.

ATTENTION:
The material is moisture-repellent but not absolutely waterproof.
Please avoid waterlogging to prolong the life of your Polyform-product.
We cannot guarantee a cleaning of some substances(e.g. blood, secretion etc.).
